Shellirae Farm has over 15 years of experience breeding Livestock, Fowl and Great Pyranees Livestock Guardian Dogs. We were introduced to the magnificent Rhodesian Ridgeback breed last year while looking for a versatile breed that would make both a good hunting partner as well as a daytime guardian on our farm. 

Our Ridgebacks are whelped inside our home and are raised with lots of love and attention.  We expose our puppies to a wide variety of sights, sounds and experiences to ensure they become a well adjusted member of the family.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks are are intelligent, loyal, sensitive, and are very affectionate towards their immediate family and people they know well.   Our Ridgebacks are part of the family and spend time with us outdoors while we are doing our chores or hunting and can be found on the couch next to us in the evenings.
